Children and Youth
We specialise in supporting children with disabilities and supporting their families. We want to make sure that children and young people are protected from abuse and neglect, and that they are a part of communities and environments which enable them to thrive.
Sanity Care promotes self-worth and well-being, and we are inclusive of people and their needs. We provide a wide range of individual and community services for children and their families, specialising in supporting young people with moderate needs and challenging behaviours.
We offer the following services
Youth workers
Our youth workers are trained to intervene in non-violent crises (NVCI) to provide support and care using a therapeutic approach.Transitional placement
We provide transitional placements for young people who are leaving or moving to disability services, or waiting for a place of residence.
Community Support and Access
We provide assistance in bringing youth back to school and building beneficial relationships with peers and community groups.Emergency care
Immediate help in response to emergency care situations. We can provide these services in a variety of locations, conditions, short and medium term, and including early intervention, prenatal support, child protection, and out-of-home care
