Appointments can usually be made within 24 hours, although it may take a little longer if requested a specific counsellor or social worker.

We will meet you upstairs at level one. Please wait for your service provider to come and greet you.
What to expect
At your first session at Sanity Care, you’ll talk with your counsellor so they can decide how best to help you. This session is up to 50- 60 minutes, and you may need further appointments.
Cancelling and Rescheduling
Our cancellation policy (conditions) to avoid paying fees:
Upon booking an appointment with Sanity Care you must agree to this policy in full. Clients are informed of this policy at the time of booking and acknowledge the need to cancel or pay a late cancellation fee when completing or filling in an initial appointment Intake form. By booking an appointment online or over the phone you agree to our cancellation policy.
Your appointment time is set aside specifically for you, so your appointment is your time alone. We know your time is valuable, and ours is too. Life happens sometimes so if it is necessary to cancel or reschedule your scheduled appointment. Out of respect for our staff, our other clients, and the business, we require at least 48 hours across 2 business days’ notice of cancellation and rescheduling for all appointments. Your advance notes allow us to offer your scheduled time to other clients.
Cancellation: If you cancel your appointment 48 hours across 2 business days before your meeting time, there is no cancellation fee, and you will be refunded 100% of the deposit. If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours across 2 business days’ notice, you will be charged 100% of the session fee.
Rescheduling: If you reschedule your appointment 48 hours’ across 2 business days before your meeting time, there is no rescheduling fee. If you reschedule your appointment with less than 48 hours across 2 business days’ notice, you will be charged 100% the session fee.
No-Show Policy: A no-show is someone who misses a scheduled appointment without cancelling or rescheduling 48 hours across 2 business days in advance of their scheduled appointment. No-shows will be charged 100% of the session amount. The session amount is different from the price listed on our booking page. If a client accumulates 3 No-shows, he or she may be asked to leave the practice.
How to Cancel or Reschedule Your Appointment
If you want to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call us on 0405872286 between 9 am-5 pm between Monday and Friday. If we miss your call, please allow up to 4- 24 hours for a return call. Please leave a detailed message and a contact number if cancelling or rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice. We do not accept cancellations or rescheduling via text or email. Cancellations or rescheduling for Monday and Tuesday appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled by 2:00 pm the previous Friday. Payment is due prior to a session. We appreciate your cooperation on this matter.
A business day is: Any normal weekday other than a public holiday or office closure period, Monday to Friday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. This does not include After hours and Saturday even though we operate as per usual 9:00 am until 7:00 pm.
Payments; Medicare Rebates and Private Health Insurance
Service Fee and Payment Methods
Our fees- are currently been updated please contact the clinic for details. Payment due prior to the session. Your appointment confirmed with payment at the time of booking. You will need to provide your debit card or credit card detail or we will email you the payment link and you can pay online. If you do not make your payment in advance within 24 hours the appointment will be cancelled.
Payment for Counselling sessions is required at your appointment via cash or credit card. Visa, MasterCard, Debit Cards and American Express are accepted. After your first session, you can pay by direct deposit or Bpay.

Medibank and ahm Private Health Insurance
Medibank and ahm health insurance offers rebates for counselling and psychological services for members on eligible products. You may be eligible for rebates if you have counselling cover benefits. Please check your entitlements with your health fund. Mr Daniel Weldemichial is a registered Medibank and Ahm counselling service provider.
Private Health Insurance
Rebates vary among insurance providers. Please check with your private health insurance provider.
Counsellors cannot offer clients any rebates under Medicare. However, our fees are affordable without the need to see a GP to get a referral.
In Case of Emergency
Online bookings are for non-urgent counselling only. If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts or there is an emergency, please use one of these emergency contacts.
